Constant Voltage Transformer

Stability of mains voltage forms the basis for optimum performance of the electronic equipments. The continuously fluctuating mains supply, transients, spikes and surges tend to produce harmful effects thereby creating a hindrance in the smooth functioning of the equipment.

Sen & Pandit Electronics Private Limited Constant Voltage Transformer (CVT) caters to this problem with finesse.

These are based on Ferro-resonance principle and primarily consists of two components i.e. Ferro-resonant transformer and a capacitor. These transformers are designed to deliver constant output voltage with a regulation of out of fluctuating input supply voltage at frequency 50 Hz. The rate of voltage correction for the CVT is instant.

Features

  • High reliability
  • Instantaneous voltage regulation
  • Output isolated from mains for suppression of transients and spikes.
  • Higher input voltage control range, for loads less than rated load
  • Short term over load capability
  • Very high line transient/spike rejection capability and excellent input to output isolation characteristics

Applications

Computers, data processing equipment, colour photography labs., bio-medical equipments, PA equipment, telecommunication, TV, VCD/DVD recorders & players, tele-printers, fax machines and all other sensitive electronic devices requiring precise mains supply.
